Hallgren and Associates, L.L.C. was founded in 2017 by Ms. Stephanie Hallgren and is a 100% woman-owned business. Ms. Hallgren is a Texas A&M University School of Law graduate who continues to work for Lubbock County Dispute Resolution Center and is available for private mediations. She was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas where her father and brother own and operate The Hallgren Company, a successful commercial door and hardware business, and her mother is the Director of Operations at Cycle For Life, a thriving local non-profit business.
In December of 2010, Stephanie received her Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Equine Business and Management earning minors in both Animal Science and Art from West Texas A&M University. She attended WTAMU on scholarships and was the first recipient of the Rachel Quest Memorial Scholarship. During her time at WTAMU she was a distinguished member of the Equestrian Team, placing in the top-seven at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championships in 2010 in addition to being a part of the National Qualifying Team of 2007- 2010 and the Zone and Regional Champion Team in 2007- 2009. Furthermore, Stephanie placed in the National Top-Three for Western Horsemanship in 2008.
Following graduation, Stephanie took over her family-owned equestrian facility, Lonesome Pine Equestrian Center, while simultaneously earning her Paralegal Certification through South Plains College. In August of 2012, she became a law student at Texas A&M University School of Law where she worked towards a double concentration in both Business Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Stephanie competed in the Mediation Sector of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team as well as being an Officer on the Board of Advocates for the ADR Sector. The Texas A&M University School of Law Board of Advocates awarded her the distinction of Preeminent Advocate in 2015, the highest award one can earn through the Board of Advocates.
Ms. Hallgren earned her Family Mediation Certificate in 2014, her Basic Mediation Certificate in 2015, her Advanced Family-Divorce-Child Custody Mediation Certificate in 2017, and most recently her Guardianship Mediation Certificate in 2021. In the beginning of 2017, Ms. Hallgren began working for the Dispute Resolution Center for Lubbock County. She has successfully conducted numerous meditations in both civil and family law. Stephanie is a Credentialed Mediator in good standing of the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association and stays in compliance with Texas requirements for mediators. She is active in the Lubbock community and actively attends numerous continuing legal education courses.
